MigrateDash Is in Beta — And We Want You Involved

We're opening the doors to early testers. MigrateDash is live — a migration service that moves your WordPress site to EmDash, Cloudflare's open-source CMS. Here's why we started and how you can help shape what comes next.

Today we're excited to announce that MigrateDash is officially in beta. We're reserving spots now for site owners and developers who want to move off WordPress and onto something genuinely better.

Why we started MigrateDash

WordPress powers 43% of the web. That's an incredible achievement. But after years of building on it, maintaining it, and patching it, we kept running into the same problems: slow load times, constant plugin updates, security vulnerabilities, and hosting bills that crept higher every year.

Then Cloudflare released EmDash — an open-source CMS built on Astro and Cloudflare Workers. It's fast, modern, and radically simpler than WordPress. Sub-50ms response times. No plugins to patch. Hosting for a fraction of the cost. We saw it and thought: this is what comes after WordPress.

But moving from WordPress to a new platform is daunting. That's the problem we're solving. MigrateDash is a migration service — we handle the entire move from WordPress to EmDash so you don't have to. Every page, every post, every image, every redirect. No content lost. No SEO rankings dropped. No downtime.

What the beta looks like

We built this website on EmDash from the ground up, and we've already been migrating real WordPress sites to EmDash using the platform. The results have been excellent — sites that used to take 3-8 seconds to load are now responding in under 50 milliseconds.

But every WordPress site is different — different themes, different page builders, different plugin combinations, different hosting setups. We've tested against dozens of configurations, but we want to test against hundreds.

That's where you come in. We're looking for site owners and developers who want to:

  • Migrate a real WordPress site to EmDash and get early-bird pricing
  • Help us test different WordPress configurations — Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, WooCommerce, custom themes, you name it
  • Give feedback on the migration process and the experience of landing on EmDash
  • Shape our roadmap by telling us what matters most when switching away from WordPress

Every migration we do during beta makes the service better for everyone. We're learning from each one — what edge cases exist, what content patterns need special handling, what makes the difference between a good migration and a perfect one.

What you get

Beta participants aren't guinea pigs — you're getting a real, production-ready migration. Your site will run on EmDash, Cloudflare's open-source CMS: Workers at the edge, sub-50ms response times, a 100 PageSpeed score, and hosting that costs a fraction of what you're paying now.

You also get direct access to our team. No support tickets disappearing into a queue. If something isn't right with your migration, we'll fix it together. And as a thank-you for helping us refine the service, beta participants get priority pricing that locks in permanently.

How to get involved

Reserve your spot on the waitlist. Tell us about your site — what theme you're using, whether you're on WooCommerce, what page builder you run. The more we know upfront, the faster we can scope your migration.

If you're a developer or agency managing multiple WordPress sites, we'd especially love to hear from you. We're building tooling for bulk migrations and agency workflows, and your input will directly shape how that works.

WordPress gave the web a great start. EmDash is what comes next. Let us handle the move.
